Exciting Update – New Category – New Contributor!

New Category: Health and Fitness
New Contributor: Kimberly Ough

I am excited, and honored, to welcome Kimberly Ough to the Not aLone Mom team! Kimberly is an expert in the field of health and wellness. She is a busy mother of two, loving wife and strong woman of faith! One of her big passions in life is to educate and coach women in their fitness journeys.

Beginning in November, Kimberly will be posting one to two times a month under the new Health and Fitness category. Please join me in offering her a warm welcome, and check out her official bio below!

My husband and I have been married for 7 years and we have two children ages 2 and 5. I have been blessed to be able to quit my part time job so I can be at home with my family full time. Having a kindergartner and a toddler truly keeps a girl on her toes! I love watching them grow and develop; it definitely has its ups and downs as they gain independence and want to do everything themselves! I understand how it can be difficult to take “time out” to care for yourself, but it really is important for us to be able to do that as it makes us a more patient mommy and wife, a more productive worker and better friend.

In addition to being a mom and wife, I am a personal trainer, Turbo Kick® Instructor and fitness consultant. I graduated with an Exercise Science degree from Minnesota State University-Moorhead in 2001. Upon graduating, I had the privilege of working as a personal trainer in an all-women’s gym. There, I had the opportunity to develop many wonderful relationships with fantastic ladies while providing one on one sessions and circuit training.

After my daughter was born in 2007, I had a hard time losing my baby weight until I discovered Turbo Jam. I saw success on the program, and was later introduced to a coaching opportunity with the company that I didn’t even know existed! I was excited to sign up and be able to help people from the comfort of my own home. In November 2010, when my second child was just 6 months old, I was able to quit my part time job as a trainer and work from home full time as a Team BeachBody Coach!

I am blessed to have the opportunity to help people achieve their fitness goals, build a team and make an income all while being a “stay at home mom”!

I am honored to partner with Kristen/Not aLone Mom and look forward to speaking to moms, and relating to the struggles new moms face both emotionally and physically.
